以往造冬或團年如果不想煮就多數去酒樓食,不過喱類大時大節通常冇得訂位之餘仲要被迫叫熱推套餐,所以基爾一家繼舊年去Pizza Hut造冬之後,今年食團年飯又有新創意……

以往基爾間中都有來幫襯喱間位於河畔的酒店,因為佢個lunch buffet間唔中會有五五折,百幾蚊位菜式選擇算多所以都幾抵食,閒日去客量不多非常清靜。不過今次團年飯就移師地下的意廊。

顧名思義這就是間意大利菜餐廳,年廿九晚來到不太多人(可訂座)。基爾覺得佢個4人自選套餐非常抵食,連加一都係約$1000。特別喜歡佢個自助頭盤及沙律吧有好多款沙律菜、芝士、麵包餅乾和果乾,仲有不斷添加的煙三文魚,正過Pizza Hut以前果個salad bar好多,要重點一提係佢果兩支無花果和士多啤梨黑醋,真係超…級…正!

除了頭盤沙律可自取之外,其餘都是4人份量,包括soup of the day(記憶中係忌廉湯),至於pasta方面就選了上面喱個香蒜白酒忌廉藍青口闊條麵(另外還可選煙肉忌廉汁意粉或紅酒燴牛肉雜菜貝殼粉),基爾覺得D青口仔實在太細隻唔係好夠攝牙罅,但肉質尚算ok。

跟住仲有個snack platter,除了fish finger(配他他醫)幾好味之外,仲有黑椒蜜糖雞翼、炸蟹肉餅以及意式烤豬肋骨。佢個ribs個醬幾好味,仲有個tartar sauce幾乎畀我點晒,直豎拇指!

套餐不可少的仲有個12-inch pizza,結果選了上面喱個巴馬火腿牛油果批(另外還可選煙三文魚批和Quattro Formaggi批,不過因為出面salad bar有無限量芝士和煙三文魚供應,所以還是選了Parma Ham),其實基爾都幾鍾意食喱類薄批,好脆好香口,但基爾媽唔識欣賞猛話唔夠芝士,又話鍾意食PH果D厚批多D。

至於entree只有兩個選擇,分別是燒春雞及上面喱個意式烤羊鞍(配薯仔及炒時蔬),基爾覺得個羊鞍唔算太羶喎,是可以接受的程度……平時也有食開枝竹羊腩煲的基爾媽反而覺得這羊鞍有點羶。

最後仲有甜品和coffee or tea,蛋糕一般而已沒太大特色,如果有cheese cake更佳,反而杯cappuccino幾好飲唔太甜。

講完團年飯順帶又講埋開年飯,今年繼續encore了稻香盆菜,年初二晨早基爾去晨運發財跑順便去隔籬村拎盆菜,同去年一樣相當足料,$888的價錢仍算是合理吧!不過舊年一次過落晒兩樽醬汁實在太咸了,今年汲取了經驗先落大半樽,唔夠先酌量再加會好一點。

之前講過刨蓮藕絲整蓮藕餅,今次再整埋籮蔔糕,之前睇肥媽食平D教刨籮蔔絲,可以留返個籮蔔椗來搾手就唔駛驚刨傷隻手,基爾試過又真係幾好刨喎!睇烹飪節目真係經常可以學到新知識。

餡料方面除了慣常的臘腸和蔥花之外仲有蝦米,不過今年蝦米好貴,索性升級用蝦乾,然而蝦乾太大條,要先一剪開三。其實整糕過程和製成品本來都有影,但唔知點解D相後來發現爛了打不開……

年初三赤口與舊同學食開年飯(由團年飯約到變開年飯),因為有好多食肆仲未開,一波三折後終於決定去食新世紀的Outback,之前睇blog友講先知佢開了在6樓,初三去到門口逼滿人,幸好多數係對面茶樓D等位客。

睇完menu後,初頭諗住叫兩個lunch set之後再散叫其他小食,不過waiter哥哥話散叫份量同個套餐係差不多,叫套餐會抵食D云云,咁又係喎套餐只係$78-88,以美式餐廳來說係非常非常抵食,而且份量都幾大,最後叫了牛柳粒串燒、香芒燒雞肉沙律和燒肉醬味豬肋骨3個餐,食到飽一飽人均才$100,以新年檔期計平過去茶樓啦!
p.s.有冇發現Outback食果餐又係冇乜影相!唔知點解個電話又神神地,D相又係爛晒開唔返,究竟係咪時候要考慮換新手機呢?下次都係帶返架相機傍身穩陣D。
